Free City? Hot City. Strategies of Culmination by Ramon Bauer

Hot Spot Vienna. What drives urban diversity?

After decades of stagnation and shrinking during the 20th century, the city of Vienna is currently one of the fastest growing capitals in Europe. This growth is mainly driven by the influx of international migrants, which are also altering the socio-cultural and demographic composition of Vienna’s population. Ramon Bauer explores the increasing diversity of Vienna, its drivers, as well as its spatial and demographic impacts in the past, present and future.
